Axleless flight is a heavier specification of spiral flight, which produces and has an open center outer diameter and pitch specification. This product works well when moving sticky products and large pieces. Shaftless threads are usually located inside the groove and are driven from one end by a flange or stub shaft. The other end can be open or connected to the stub shaft or mounting flange. Advantages include no need for intermediate bearings, no central tube, reduced maintenance costs, extended service life and increased screw capacity.
