Automatic Polymer Dosing Unit

DT series automatic dosing device is mainly composed of automatic quantitative, feeding, adding dry powder feeding unit, dry powder pre-infiltration device, inlet and outlet pipelines, box and liquid level measurement mixing equipment and automatic control unit. DT series automatic dosing device is an integral system unit integrating dry powder storage, feeding, infiltration, dissolving, aging and other processes. It is a fully automatic equipment that can continuously prepare polymer solutions in batches. The device can efficiently and conveniently promote the full maturity and dissolution of the polymer, preventing the green polymer from being fed and added to the processing system. PAM powder can be dosed into the polymer dissolution tank by means of a screw feeder.  

Product structure

This device is flocculating agent automatic continuous preparation and addition system. Dry powder flocculating agent from spiral propeller to instant device premix with clean water, the wet agentia goes into mixing tank for mixing and diluting,prepare it with the concentration requirement; if it is a liquid flocculant, it is directly injected into the preparation tank by the screw pump.If it is a liquid flocculant agent, it is directly injected into the preparation tank by the screw pump. In the preparation process,The water inflow must be relatively stable under the observation of the flowmeter, to ensure that the concentration is no change in whole working process.

Polymer dosing device
Polymer dosing device is composed of hopper, push screw, electric heater and etc. The effective volume of the hopper can meet the dosage for a long time which is equipped with sight glasses for observing material level monitored by the dry powder level meter.The push screw driven by the high-precision reducer can satisfy the dosage. The electric heater can be installed in the dischargepipe of push screw, and it can prevent the powder from caking.

Polymer dissolving device

Polymer dissolving device is composed of pre-soaking device, tank, and 3 sets of mixers. The pre-soaking device is to infiltrate and mix the polymer powder in advance. The 3 tanks are precast mixing tank, homogeneous slaking tank and solution storage tank, in which there is a mixer correspond to guarantee the homogeneity.

Water supply device
Water supply device is composed of pipeline, manual ball valve, filter, pressure gauge, solenoid valve, stop valve, and the rotor flow meter, etc.

Product description

Automatic Polymer Dosing Unit It uses a jet mixer to break up the polymer powder with a high-speed water jet to improve the fineness,increase the contact between the water and the polymer powder, and reduce the dissolution time. The equipment adopts a three-tank overflow combination design, namely mixing, aging and storage. Proportional differences due to specific gravity and solubility automatically separate dissolved and undissolved solutions. Subsequent agitation by a low-speed agitator can improve the homogeneity of the solution.

Applications

Using polymers and flocculants considerably facilitates the processes of removing particles and solids suspended in liquid in the following applications:

Function

The polymer preparation tank is divided into three Chambers: Dissolution (V1), Maturation (V2) and Storage (V3), interconnected by siphons to form the perfect flow between the chambers required to form a high quality solution.

The added polyelectrolyte comes into contact with water. The water/polyelectrolyte mixture then descends into the tank below the dissolution stage to begin. In the first chamber V1, a slow stirrer keeps the contents of the tank moving ensuring thorough homogenization of the solution. Siphon transfer solution for maturation chamber V2, where another slow mixer keeps the solution homogeneous until ripening is complete. The solution then is to move to the storage room V3, from where it can be transferred for use. A level switch installed in the last chamber controls the automatic functions:

Maximum and normal levels: When the solution reaches the highest level, this switch stops the powder metering unit/liquid polymer metering pump and closes the water inlet solenoid valve. While the level is normal, the switch enables the dosing unit to function and opens the water solenoid valve.

Minimum level: When the solution drops to minimum level and below, this switch stops the metering pump and sounds an alarm indicator light on the appliance control panel.

Overflow Level: When the solution reaches the overflow point, this switch stops the dosing unit/liquid polymer metering pump and closes the water inlet solenoid valve to prevent delivery of mixed polymer solution to the drain.
