    High-Flow Multi-Cartridge Filter Housing – Heavy-Duty Filtration for Large-Scale Industrial Applications

    In large-scale industrial applications, filtration demands are substantial. High flow rates, high contaminant loads, and continuous operation require robust equipment that can handle the workload without frequent maintenance interruptions. Single cartridge housings simply cannot meet these demands—they require too many units, too much space, and too much maintenance time.

    The DAGYEE High-Flow Multi-Cartridge Filter Housing is engineered for these demanding applications. Designed to accommodate multiple cartridges in a single vessel, it provides high-capacity filtration in a compact footprint. This heavy-duty housing handles flow rates up to 120 cubic metres per hour, significantly reducing the number of housings required and simplifying system design.

    Constructed from high-grade stainless steel and featuring a robust closure system, this housing is built for years of reliable service in the most demanding industrial environments. It is the ideal solution for large-scale water treatment, chemical processing, power generation, and industrial manufacturing.

    How the System Works

    The Process Flow

    Step 1: Liquid Entry
    The unfiltered liquid enters the housing through the large-diameter inlet connection. The flow is distributed evenly across the multiple cartridges installed inside the vessel.

    Step 2: Distribution
    An integrated flow distribution system ensures that the incoming fluid is spread evenly across all cartridges. This prevents channeling and ensures that all cartridges are utilized effectively, maximizing filter life and efficiency.

    Step 3: Filtration
    The fluid passes through the filter cartridges from the outside to the inside (or vice versa, depending on cartridge design). The multiple cartridges work in parallel, each filtering a portion of the total flow. The cartridge media traps suspended particles, contaminants, and impurities based on the cartridge's micron rating.

    Step 4: Clean Fluid Collection
    The filtered fluid passes through each cartridge core and is collected in the outlet manifold, exiting the housing through the large-diameter outlet connection.

    Step 5: Maintenance
    When the cartridges become loaded with contaminants, the housing is opened via the quick-opening closure system. All cartridges can be accessed and replaced in a single maintenance operation, significantly reducing downtime compared to servicing multiple single-cartridge housings.

    The housing is equipped with vent and drain ports for efficient system startup, pressure relief, and complete drainage during maintenance.

    Pre-Treatment & Installation

    nstallation Requirements:

    • Level, stable mounting surface (concrete pad or steel frame)

    • Access for cartridge change-out (adequate clearance above housing)

    • Inlet and outlet piping with appropriate connections

    • Pressure gauge ports for system monitoring

    • Vent and drain connections for maintenance

    Pre-Installation Checks:

    • Verify housing material compatibility with process fluid

    • Confirm pressure and temperature ratings meet system requirements

    • Ensure seals and gaskets are compatible with fluid chemistry

    • Check that housing connections match existing piping

    • Inspect housing for shipping damage before installation

    Installation Steps:

    1. Position housing on mounting surface and secure legs

    2. Connect inlet and outlet piping (support heavy piping separately)

    3. Install pressure gauges in gauge ports

    4. Connect vent and drain lines as required

    5. Install filter cartridges (ensure correct orientation and sealing)

    6. Close and secure housing cover

    7. Slowly pressurize and check for leaks
