    1.Product Overview

    The DAGYEE Low Maintenance Sludge Dewatering Machine is engineered for the most demanding applications where high solids loading, abrasive materials, and continuous operation would quickly destroy conventional dewatering equipment. Built with heavy-duty construction and advanced wear-resistant technology, this machine delivers exceptional reliability in mining, mineral processing, chemical, and other heavy industrial applications. The robust design extends component life by 2-3 times compared to standard machines, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and total cost of ownership.

    2. Working Principle

    The heavy-duty machine operates on a combination of mechanical compression and filtration:

    1. Heavy-Duty Feed System: An oversized feed pump and large-diameter pipework handle high-solids sludge without plugging. A heavy-duty flocculation tank with reinforced mixing blades ensures thorough polymer mixing even with high concentrations.

    2. Reinforced Dewatering Body: The screw body is constructed with thicker walls and heavier flanges. The rings (both fixed and moving) are manufactured from hardened stainless steel or with tungsten carbide coatings. The screw flights are clad with wear-resistant hardfacing on all wear surfaces.

    3. High-Torque Drive System: A larger motor and heavy-duty gearbox provide the torque required to process high-solids sludge. VFD control allows precise speed adjustment for optimal performance.

    4. Advanced Wear Protection: Critical wear areas are protected with:

    • Tungsten carbide tiles on ring faces

    • Hardfaced screw flights (carbide overlay)

    • Ceramic-lined feed zones

    • Replaceable wear liners in high-wear areas

    Note: Capacity and cake dryness depend on sludge characteristics, polymer type, and dosage. A sludge test is recommended for accurate sizing.

    6. Selection & Maintenance


    Selection Worksheet

    To select the appropriate model, calculate your dry solids production rate.

    Step 1: Measure or estimate your sludge flow rate in cubic meters per hour.

    Step 2: Measure your inlet solids concentration in percent or grams per liter. One percent solids equals ten grams per liter.

    Step 3: Calculate dry solids per hour: Flow rate × Solids concentration × 10 (for grams per liter to kilograms per hour).

    Step 4: Multiply by 1.5 to provide margin for variations.

    Step 5: Select a model with dry solids capacity exceeding this number.

    Example Calculation

    Sludge flow: 8 cubic meters per hour
    Inlet solids: 2 percent (20 grams per liter)
    Dry solids: 8 × 20 = 160 kilograms per hour
    With margin: 160 × 1.5 = 240 kilograms per hour
    Recommended model: DAG-301 or DAG-302 depending on flow characteristics

    Free Laboratory Testing

    DAGYEE maintains a pilot-scale test unit for customer sludge samples. The test procedure requires approximately five liters of representative sludge.

    The test report includes:

    • Recommended polymer type and dosage

    Maintenance Planning
