    WHAT IS CENTRIFUGE DECANTER

    The Solid-Liquid Separation Machine is a versatile class of equipment designed to separate solid and liquid phases from heterogeneous suspensions (e.g., sludge, slurries, emulsions) across industries. It leverages diverse separation principles—including centrifugal sedimentation, pressure filtration, vacuum adsorption, and gravity settling—to tailor solutions for different material properties (solid particle size, viscosity, density difference). Ranging from compact laboratory-scale units to large industrial systems, it converts unstable suspensions into two stable products: low-moisture solid cakes (or dry residues) and clear recyclable liquids (or filtrates). As a core link in material purification, waste treatment, and resource recycling, it plays an irreplaceable role in optimizing production efficiency and reducing environmental impact for enterprises.

    HOW DOES IT WORK

    Solid-Liquid Separation Machines operate based on 4 fundamental scientific principles, adapted to different application needs:
    Centrifugal Sedimentation Principle: High-speed rotation generates centrifugal force (hundreds to thousands of times gravity) to accelerate the sedimentation of high-density solid particles, suitable for fine particles or low-density-difference mixtures (e.g., decanter centrifuges).
    Pressure Filtration Principle: Applying external pressure (mechanical or hydraulic) pushes the suspension through a filter medium (filter cloth, membrane), trapping solids and allowing liquids to pass—ideal for high-viscosity or high-solid-content materials (e.g., filter presses).
    Vacuum Adsorption Principle: Creating a vacuum on the liquid side of the filter medium sucks the liquid through, leaving solids on the surface, commonly used for low-viscosity, easy-filtering materials (e.g., vacuum filters).
    Gravity Settling Principle: Utilizing the natural density difference between solids and liquids, allowing solids to settle at the bottom under gravity—simple in structure, suitable for coarse particles or large-volume preliminary separation (e.g., settling tanks).
