Description
DAGYEE UF Ultrafiltration System

Product Overview
The UF Ultrafiltration System is a pressure-driven membrane separation device that utilizes physical sieving principles to remove suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses, and macromolecular organic matter from water. The system employs hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes as the core filtration element, achieving a filtration precision of 0.01~0.02 microns, effectively retaining particles larger than the membrane pore size while allowing water, inorganic salts, and small molecular substances to pass through, enabling selective separation.
This system is widely used in drinking water purification, industrial wastewater treatment, RO reverse osmosis pretreatment, seawater desalination pretreatment, and many other applications. It is an ideal solution for improving water quality and ensuring the stable operation of downstream processes.
Working Principle
Ultrafiltration separation is a liquid-phase separation process driven by transmembrane pressure (TMP), with physical sieving as its primary separation mechanism.
When feed water flows through the ultrafiltration membrane surface under pressure, the micropores distributed on the membrane surface allow only water molecules, inorganic salts, and small molecular substances to pass through, becoming the permeate (product water). Meanwhile, suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses, and macromolecular organics larger than the membrane pore size are retained on the feed side, forming the concentrate, thereby achieving purification and separation of the feed liquid.
The system can operate in either inside-out mode (feed water enters from the lumen side, permeate exits from the outside) or outside-in mode (feed water enters from the outside, permeate exits from the lumen side), accommodating different water quality conditions and application scenarios.
Key Parameters:
- Transmembrane Pressure (TMP): Typically 0.1~0.3 MPa
- Recovery Rate: 85%~95% (depending on feed water quality)
- Flux Range: 40~120 L/m²·h (adjustable based on application)

Product Features & Advantages
Effectively removes 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, colloids, and suspended solids from water. Product water turbidity consistently remains below 0.1 NTU, with SDI (Silt Density Index) values below 1, ensuring excellent and stable effluent quality regardless of fluctuations in feed water quality.
Low Energy Consumption
Operates at low pressure (typically 0.1~0.3 MPa), consuming significantly less energy than reverse osmosis (RO) systems. The process requires minimal chemical dosing during normal operation, making it an environmentally friendly solution with low operational costs.
Automatic Backwashing & Cleaning
The system features fully automatic backwashing and air scouring functions that periodically remove surface foulants, effectively extending membrane service life and reducing manual maintenance requirements. Under normal operating conditions, membrane lifespan can reach 3~5 years or more, with a service life 30~50 times longer than conventional cartridge filters.
Robust Anti-Fouling Performance
The PVDF hollow fiber membranes exhibit excellent chemical stability and resistance to chlorine oxidation, allowing for aggressive chemical cleaning when necessary to fully recover membrane flux. The hydrophilic membrane surface reduces protein and oil adsorption, minimizing irreversible fouling.
Modular & Compact Design
Adopts a modular design concept that allows for flexible capacity expansion based on customer requirements. The skid-mounted design minimizes floor space requirements and reduces initial capital investment. Standardized modules simplify replacement and maintenance.

Ideal RO Pretreatment
As a pretreatment unit for RO reverse osmosis systems, the UF system effectively removes particulate matter, colloids, and microorganisms that could potentially foul RO membranes. By reducing the RO system cleaning frequency and extending RO membrane lifespan, it lowers the total cost of ownership for the entire water treatment train.
High Reliability & Automation
Equipped with advanced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) touch screen, the system supports:
1.Fully automatic and manual operation modes
2.Real-time monitoring of TMP, flow rate, pressure, and temperature
3.Automatic start/stop and backwash cycles
4.Alarm and fault diagnostic functions
5.Remote monitoring capability (optional)
