    DAGYEE decanter centrifuge is a continuous solid liquid separation equipment designed for high efficiency sludge dewatering and industrial separation applications. The horizontal bowl design generates high centrifugal force to separate fine solid particles from liquid with minimal operator intervention. Available in two phase solid liquid separation and three phase liquid liquid solid separation configurations to meet diverse industry requirements including municipal wastewater treatment chemical processing food and beverage production edible oil refining and mining slurry dewatering.

    How does a decanter centrifuge work?


    Working Principle Step by Step

    Step 1 Feed Entry
    Slurry enters the machine through a stationary feed tube into the mixing zone where flocculant can be added for optimal solid liquid separation.

    Step 2 High Speed Rotation
    The bowl rotates at high speed typically 2000 to 4000 RPM generating strong centrifugal force that pushes heavier solids outward against the bowl wall.

    Step 3 Solids Settlement
    Solid particles settle and compact against the bowl inner wall while lighter liquid forms an inner layer closer to the rotation axis.

    Step 4 Scroll Conveying
    The scroll rotates at a slightly different speed differential speed pushing settled solids toward the conical discharge end.

    Step 5 Dry Solids Discharge
    Dewatered solid cake discharges continuously through solids outlet ports at the conical end of the bowl.

    Step 6 Liquid Overflow
    Separated clarified liquid flows over adjustable weir plates and discharges through the liquid outlet at the opposite end.

    Step 7 Three Phase Separation Optional
    For three phase configuration liquid liquid separation occurs simultaneously with heavier liquid water discharging near the solids outlet and lighter liquid oil discharging at the opposite end.
