    Industrial Cartridge Filter Housing – Robust Filtration Solution for Liquid & Gas Processing

    Cartridge filter housings are the workhorses of industrial filtration systems. They provide the physical containment for filter cartridges, ensuring that liquids and gases are effectively cleaned of suspended particles, contaminants, and other impurities. Whether you are treating water, processing chemicals, or filtering beverages, the housing is just as critical as the cartridges themselves.

    The DAGYEE Industrial Cartridge Filter Housing is engineered for durability, performance, and ease of use. Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding industrial environments. The housing accepts a wide range of filter cartridge types and sizes, making it a versatile solution for diverse applications.

    From pre-filtration to final polishing, this housing provides reliable containment and flow distribution for your filtration process. Its robust design ensures leak-free operation under pressure, while easy-opening closures simplify cartridge change-outs and routine maintenance.


    How the System Works

    The cartridge filter housing operates on a simple but effective principle.

    The Process Flow

    Step 1: Liquid Entry
    The unfiltered liquid or gas enters the housing through the inlet port. The flow is directed into the housing chamber where the filter cartridges are installed.

    Step 2: Filtration
    The fluid passes through the filter cartridges from the outside to the inside (or vice versa, depending on cartridge design). The cartridge media traps suspended particles, contaminants, and impurities based on the cartridge's micron rating.

    Step 3: Clean Fluid Exit
    The filtered fluid passes through the cartridge core and exits the housing through the outlet port, ready for downstream use or further processing.

    Step 4: Cartridge Retention
    The filter cartridges are securely held in place by the housing design. Different housing models accommodate different cartridge connection types: double open-end (DOE), 222 O-ring, 226 O-ring, or threaded connections.

    Step 5: Maintenance Access
    When the cartridges become loaded with contaminants, the housing is opened via the closure system (V-band clamp, swing bolts, or eye bolts). The spent cartridges are removed and replaced with fresh ones, and the housing is closed and returned to service.

    The housing also features vent and drain ports for system startup, pressure relief, and complete drainage during maintenance.

    Pre-Treatment & Installation

    Installation Requirements:

    • Level, stable mounting surface (concrete pad or steel frame)

    • Access for cartridge change-out (adequate clearance above housing)

    • Inlet and outlet piping with appropriate connections

    • Pressure gauge ports for system monitoring

    • Vent and drain connections for maintenance

    Pre-Installation Checks:

    • Verify housing material compatibility with process fluid

    • Confirm pressure and temperature ratings meet system requirements

    • Ensure seals and gaskets are compatible with fluid chemistry

    • Check that housing connections match existing piping

    • Inspect housing for shipping damage before installation

    Installation Steps:

    1. Position housing on mounting surface and secure legs

    2. Connect inlet and outlet piping (support heavy piping separately)

    3. Install pressure gauges in gauge ports

    4. Connect vent and drain lines as required

    5. Install filter cartridges (ensure correct orientation and sealing)

    6. Close and secure housing cover

    7. Slowly pressurize and check for leaks
