A lamella clarifier is a high-efficiency solid-liquid separation equipment based on the shallow sedimentation principle, widely used in water treatment to remove suspended solids, flocs, colloids, and turbidity from water.

DAGYEE Lamella Clarifier adopts an optimized structure design with closely arranged inclined plates inside the tank, which greatly increases the effective sedimentation area. Compared with traditional sedimentation tanks, it features higher treatment efficiency, smaller footprint, more stable operation, and stronger adaptability. HOW DOES LAMELLA CLARIFIER WORKS

The working principle of DAGYEE Lamella Clarifier is clear and efficient.

Raw water enters the reaction zone and mixes evenly with flocculant, forming larger and denser floc particles. Then the water flows upward slowly through the inclined plates. Under gravity, suspended solids and flocs quickly settle onto the plate surfaces. As sediments accumulate, they slide down along the inclined plates into the sludge hopper at the bottom for regular discharge. Clarified water moves upward continuously, is collected by the top overflow weir, and then flows out from the outlet. This design shortens the settling distance of particles, improves separation efficiency, and ensures stable and reliable effluent quality.
