WHAT IS LAMELLA CLARIFIER
Reverse osmosis is a powerful technology, but it has a critical vulnerability: fouling. HOW DOES LAMELLA CLARIFIER WORKS

Step 1: Feed Water Intake
Raw water (surface water, groundwater, or pre-treated industrial water) enters the clarifier.
Step 2: Coagulation/Flocculation (Recommended)
For optimum solids removal, a coagulation and flocculation stage is essential. Coagulants neutralize particle charges, and flocculants bind particles into larger, more settleable flocs.
Step 3: High-Rate Lamella Clarification
The flocculated water enters the Lamella Plate pack and flows upward between the inclined plates. The large effective settling area captures flocs and particles, producing high-quality clarified water with significantly reduced SDI and turbidity.
Step 4: Effluent to RO System
The clarified water (with low SDI, low turbidity, and low suspended solids) is directed to the RO feed pumps for further treatment.
Step 5: Sludge Discharge
Settled solids collect in the sludge hopper and are removed periodically for disposal or further treatment.

Installation Options
Full-Flow Installation
