WHAT IS LAMELLA CLARIFIER
A Lamella Clarifier, also known as a lamella settler or plate settler, is a high-rate sedimentation device designed to efficiently separate suspended solids from liquids.
By using a series of inclined plates, the lamella clarifier significantly increases the effective settling area while reducing footprint and construction cost.
Lamella Clarifiers are widely used in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants where space, efficiency, and reliability are critical.
HOW DOES LAMELLA CLARIFIER WORKS

The Lamella Clarifier works on the principle of gravity sedimentation combined with inclined plate technology:

Influent wastewater enters the clarification zone at a controlled flow rate.

Solids slide down the plates into the sludge hopper for collection.
