    How does a decanter centrifuge work?




    The SS316L decanter centrifuge operates on the same continuous solid-liquid separation principle as standard decanter centrifuges, but with all components optimized for corrosion resistance and hygienic processing:

    1. Corrosion-Resistant Feed: Slurry enters through a SS316L feed tube designed with smooth internal surfaces to prevent material buildup and crevice corrosion.

    2. Sanitary Separation: The bowl and conveyor are fabricated from SS316L with a surface finish of 0.8 Ra (mirror polish optional). All welds are full-penetration with smooth transitions to eliminate crevices.
