Static Mixer descriptions
A static mixer is an inline motionless mixing device that operates without any moving parts. It consists of a series of fixed internal elements (known as mixing or twisting elements) arranged inside a pipe or tube. As fluids flow through the mixer, these elements continuously divide, rotate, and recombine the fluid streams, ensuring complete and homogeneous mixing through laminar shear, turbulence, and radial mixing.
How does a Static Mixer work?

Fluid Splitting – The internal geometry splits the main flow into multiple substreams.

Flow Rotation & Redirection – Each element twists the fluid, typically at 90° or 180°, creating interfacial surface area.

Recombination & Homogenization – The divided streams are merged in each subsequent element, exponentially increasing mixing uniformity.
